Kristin’s Simple Salad

This week let's make it easy on us with a Simple Salad. A Simple Salad has four ingredients. You may use any ingredients you like (please stick to healthy options).

Try to use ingredients that are flavorful so you don’t need dressing- that is your challenge.

In my simple salad, I personally like,

  1. Spinach or lettuce
  2. Carrots
  3. Garbanzo beans
  4. Olives

The Simple Salad is also a great cooking lesson for your kids. It helps raise their awareness of veggies and it gives you a sense of where they are at in their personal nutrition.
